You know, I am not a goat fan. I have just never liked them very well. Maybe its because my neighbors used to have a smelly goat. I don't know. They just always seem dim and uncouth. However, i have discovered a redemptive feature or state of the goat: its youth. Baby goats are fantastic. (Baby animals in general are fantastic.) When my dad and I drove his RV across the state to go pick up my sister, brother in law and nieces, the first stop after fetching them from the tiny regional airport was... a petting farm. This was due tot he fact that my nieces could not wait to get to the ranch where they were supposed to do pony trail rides... so we just hopped off the highway at a petting farm that offered pony rides. It was a worthwhile investment to calm the nieces... and I ended up being rather pleased with petting tiny baby goats, myself! There was little sleepy dopey ones, and others that ran around with a sideways lean to their uncoordinated run...hahaha. Love it. Anyhow, i enjoyed the baby goats as much as my nieces (more?) and discovered something redemptive about goats:)
